onlineedAn online degree on a resume may have raised a questionable eyebrow by recruiters in the not so distant past. However, today’s lifestyle combined with more distance learning opportunities offered by “mainstream” colleges and universities have changed that perception.

55% of 2-year and 4-year institutions offer college-level credit-granting distance learning courses at either the undergraduate or graduate level. The National Center for Education Statistics also predicts that by 2013 19% of those pursuing a degree will do so in an online classroom. I recently completed my degree from Drexel University online.
